At 15 head chef Gary Burke first picked up a kitchen knife and from there he has not stopped. Gary started his career under the guidance of Gerard Kirwin where he discovered his passion for cooking and went on to work in top class restaurants like The Park Hotel in Kenmare and Marfield House.

Gary was chosen to enter The Baileys Young Chef of the Year for two consecutive years (only 5 chefs are selected from Ireland each year), his name has quickly become associated with great food and restaurants - even appearing on TV.

It was not long after that exposure that the famous Irish chef Kevin Dundon came calling from Dunbrody House where Gary took up the role of Head Chef of the kitchen and in his first year won Best Restaurant of the Year for Leinster.

The restaurant can seat 70 and is perfect for christenings, communions and private parties, the whole restaurant can be booked if needed. We have a full license for wine, bottled beer and spirits.

There is a range of wonderful art paintings on display throughout the restaurant, these paintings are available for sale to customers.
